Hi ladies,

I will be starting clomid in a few days and just wanted to know what will my doctor be testing for on day 21 when she does labwork?

She will be testing your P4 (progesterone) as it peaks usually between 7-10dpo (days past ovulation)...She is doing it on CD21 because if you have a "normal" (nothing normal for alot of pcos woman sadly) and O on CD14, then by having your blood drawn on CD21 it will let your doctor know if you ovulated or not....Alot of women can O late on Clomid, I o'ed on CD21 the month I feel pregnant with my twins, so just because your blood work might not indicate an O, its still possible to O later in your cycle....

Thanks for the information. I don't have a "normal" cycle but I hope these next cycles of clomid will help. Congrats on your twins. They are so precious..
