Thread: Clomid 1st month

Hello all! I started on my first round of Clomid. I started with 50 mg. My doctor feels pretty positive this should help. It's been almost 2 years that we've been trying now. I took the Clomid on CD 5-9. I've been a horrible crab for the last week or so. Today is CD 13 and I had my ultrasound today. The doctor said I had 3 good follices that were over 2 cm. I then got my HCG shot. I guess now we just have "fun", if you know what I mean, and then wait. I was wondering how other felt while on Clomid. did you have hot flashes? Mood swings? cravings? Let me know how what you all experienced. Any experiences would help. Thanks everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello mrsdiddy! I also started my first round of Clomid this cycle too. I'm on cd 11 today, so we are not that far apart. I won't get an u/s til I go back to the doc on May 8th which will be cd28 for me. I'm hoping that this one cycle will work though. The doc wants me to temp, are you temping or just having u/s's? As far as what I've been feeling, I think I've been a little moody the past couple of days, but no hot flashes, or sore bb's. But this morning I did start to feel kinda like twinges or pulling in my ovaries. I'm taking that as a good sign When I started taking my Clomid, the first 3 days my dh was smelling like chocolate though, haha, so I have had SOME cravings I wish you the best with this cycle.
