Unhappy clomid, accupuncture?

Just finished my first round of clomid - 50mg, hospital carried out a blood test to see if ovulation occured, unfortunately not :-( Thought acupuncture might help in some way (desperation, have been trying for nearly one year). Has anyone tried it?

Feeling low at the moment, can't really talk to anyone about it, I just don't think it's fair to keep on upsetting my husband with details of just how I am feeling. :-( Trying to block out all emotions and put on a happy face.

I just started acupuncture today and I am on clomid 100 mg also. There are many benefits to acup. not only possible ovulation without meds, but decreased in side effects of meds, stress, and overall health. You should at least go have a consultation and use google for more info. I will keep you posted if I have success

I have been receiving acupuncture (weekly) for about 4 months now. I also receive Tui Na (Chinese massage) and have been taking various herbal concoctions. Personally, I don't really see any difference from it. My practitioner is Chinese and our communication isn't always very clear (!) so it's a bit hard to know what's going on!! I had quite high hopes but am feeling a bit disappointed with it at the moment. I'm going to keep going until the end of the year, probably.

I was hoping that my cycles would get shorter and more regular but that hasn't happened yet. I have recently started doing regular exercise again and cleaned up my diet quite a lot. I've also been taking a bunch of homeopathic remedies and have recently started taking Inositol. If things change by the end of the year, it's going to be hard to say which thing exactly is making the difference!! Maybe a combination of everything?

I know some people feel like acupuncture has been quite successful for them, but I'm not sure it's doing much for me - yet anyway.

Check this thread for some more stories.

Crystal - maybe you should get a different one? Does yours specialize in fertility?

I saw this website listed on another board as a resource for finding an acu that specializes in fertility issue. US only though but maybe there's something similar in NZ?
