So I'm cd 19 of my first cycle on clomid 50mg. And while I have had mood swings and hot flashes, nothing has been too overwhelming. But all of a sudden a day or two ago I started breaking out in acne and they're the big pimples under the skin that hurt like heck and never actually come to the surface. I have them on my face and back. I sometimes get a pimple or two right before AF, but I can't remember every breaking out like this. Is this common with clomid?

I don't know if it's common, but I am on my second round, day 17 right now and have been breaking out pretty bad for a couple days. It happened last month too.

I came in this section just to see if anyone had experienced break-outs with clomid, and there it was. I am on cd13 and I feel like a teenager again. Good to know its the clomid, I guess all side effects(even the bad ones) at least show us its doing its job. Good luck to everyone.

Oh, yes, I am even breaking out on my shoulders now. My husband told me all I need is a retainer and a back-pack and I'm good to go! Men. They have no idea.
