Mary, welcome. Some doctors start you out on metformin before starting on clomid and some go straight to clomid. Have you been tested for IR yet?

LVM ~ the doc said he wanted to keep me on the same dosage but I don't see the point if I don't O. So, if I don't (which I'm still hoping I do!) then I'm going to call him and see if we can up it. if not, I'll try it again on the same dose but make an appointment with an RE.

Jilly ~ it looks like you may have O'd. Good luck. Could you have maybe missed your surge using opk's? Sometimes those don't work for us cysters, I've heard. I'm hoping you did though!!

afm, still waiting but not giving up hope yet.

Tracey thanks for the good thoughts I really want this cycle to work but I feel if I am preg my temps would be so much higher and not getting lower boo.

Tracey - still hoping for you..your chart looks like you could be about to O with that low temp drop!

Jilly - I think even if you don't get pg, if you O'd, that's still a good sign that clomid will work..maybe you could up the dose to 150?

I think if AF shows on saturday that means I did O on CD 19 even tho I didn't get a surge. But if AF doesn't come then maybe I didn't O? I know I want to bring that up esp since I didn't get a surge this cycle.

Sarah - I've been feeling both of mine too!

Jilly - I totally think Met would help. Even if your blood glucose/insulin tests come back normal cause that's what happened with me. Those tests only catch 20% of cases. I hope this cycle isn't a bust though.

Miria - I'm crossing my fingers for you!

Tracey - Yes, maybe you do need more than 50mg. I've been ovulating later than CD21 and my Dr is always trying to get my body to O earlier...must be healthier. So, you may still O this cycle but seeing as you are on CD23 then probably it's best to increase clomid next month.

As for me...

Oh my goodness...I'm eating loads of carbs again. I bought a pack of mini breakfast cereals. There were 8 in the pack and I've eaten all of them in 24 hours. Just shows I can't have carbs in the house! Hope my O won't be delayed....ohhhhhhhh

Suz im sorry hon that you had to go through this torture!!! you're such a courageous woman, i wouldn't have done it!!..what would you have for breakfast!! as all breakfasts are mostly from carbs?

I love my carbs too! I usually try to eat eggs. There is a dish that I love making which is grainy bread with cheese, pickles, boiled eggs, paprika and bits of bacon. You toast it until the cheese is melted...yum! But then even when I have 1 piece of grainy toast for bfast I crave it the rest of the day and end up eating the whole loaf! I'm a carb freak!

Well my temp when I woke up at 11 was 97.7, I was wary of putting this on my chart, but did so, FF gave me cross hairs for O on CD16. Time will tell, so will the P4#s lol. I really hope I can get AF on my own this time, Provera was a horrendous to me. I'm a closet carb freak too! love my pasta, bread and potatos. I try not to eat as much as I did before though, some days its a losing battle lol.

Oh my gosh, I love me some carbs!!! My nickname since I was little is Potatoe Girl, I used to trade my desserts in elementary for mashed potatoes. Lol. Plus DH loves making spaghetti and chicken alfredo, I try to make it healthier by buying wheat noodles, but that's not too much better.

Miria and Jilly-Good luck on the waiting, I don't know what I'm going to do when I get to that point. I'm the most impatient person I know!!!

As for me, AF left today, a little spotting this morning and then nothing..Woohoo!!! I'm hoping I'll actually O this month. If not then we'll see the doctor and he'll up my dosage of Clomid. I have a question though since temps and opks can be wrong should we start BDing on Friday(CD11) and go for like two weeks??? BDing every other day??

My temp nose dived to 97.5 today, so I'm feeling pretty down about it.
