What is the highest dosage of clomid that you have taken before moving on to next cycle. This will be my third cycle of Clomid and have been unresponsive to 50 and 150mg. My RE is increasing dosage this cycle to 300mg. Anyone every taking this high of dosage?

The highest dosage I have heard that is reccomended is 250mg, most Drs don't even go that high and usually move on to something else. I have never heard of someone doing 300. Is there a reason your Dr. wont try 200mg? You may want to mention femara to him/her also and see if they will put you on that. Many cysters have had great success with it.
I , at different times in my years of ttc, have o'd on different mg (and concieved) of clomid.
I concieved on 100mg, 150mg and 50mg.

Wow, 300 mg!! I can't imagine how that would make me feel - I take 150 and that's bad enough!! Has your doc tried giving you a longer dosage schedule? For Example, I started out trying 50 mg cd 5 - 9, no o, then 100 mg cd 5 - 9, no o, then 150 mg cd 5-9, o'd once then not the next month, then we went to 150 mg cd 2 - 11 (10 DAYS!) and I o every time on it. I have 35 day cycles with 4 day AF and o around day 18 - 21. I have a beautifull dd who is a result of what dh calls my "10 day trip to crazytown" Hope you don't really have to take that high of a dosage. Good luck!

If you are interested in alternative remedies look in the alternative forum. While I was TTC on clomid I had found a thread all about the effects of NAC on clomid resistant women. It worked for me.
