You may be resistant to Clomid alone, but if you have other meds helping it do its job, then it should work just fine. Clomid blocks estrogen levels enhancing LH, Follistim enhances FSH. The two together FSH and LH are needed to ovulate. If Clomid wasnt working, hes probably thinking its an FSH problem as well. Clomid and Follistim have been known as "good partners".
Just to let you know, this is from my personal research and from other close family/friends of mine who have gone through it. I personally have not done this myself. I usually only like to answer things I have personal experience with, but I see you are really needing an answer so I'm telling you what I know.
