Clomid Help

I am TTC with my second child. My first pregnancy was a result of spontaneous ovulation on just Met alone. I took provera and cleaned out for 8 days beginning January 22/05. Kept on my 1000mg of Metformin and had no cylce in all February and just started with brownish discharge when wiping. My docotr thought this was my body's half attempt at a cycle and to begin my first round of clomid 50mg today (day 3). I haven't been charting and the whole process of doing so confuses me. I know I can sucessfully ovulate and my last ultrasound showed I had plenty of follicles they were all just very tiny. I'm wondering how long generally after you finish your 3-7 day clomid do you ovulate. Trying to figure out best days for intercourse etc. etc. Any advise out there?? PLEASE HELP !!!

When I took Clomid (3-7) I O'd around day 15 or 16, but everyone is different. Do you use OPK's? Some women with PCOS can't use them b/c they get false positives, but they work fine for me. I also chart and that's how I really know that I've ovulated. I use www.fertilityfriend.com It's really easy, just type in your temps and it does everything else for you.

I'm on my 2nd round of clomid....a link to my chart is in my siggie.

Last month - O on CD17 and this month CD16. Last month was a 30 day cycle. I take 500 MG of Metformin XR. This month I used OPKs to pinpoint ovulation. I had P4 taken yesterday and I will get those results on Monday.

You usually ovulate approximately 1 week after your last dose. I have been taking 150mg Clomid CD5-9, and ovulate on CD17. I know this b/c I have u/s & BW monitoring in preparation for HCG trigger and IUI. Won't you be having any more u/s to monitor your cycle and help you figure out when to BD?
