Clomid...Help Pls?

So today my doc gave me 100mg of Clomid to take. It will be my first cycle & she told me to take it from the first day of af...
I speak to many Pcoscysters, & have never heard of this before. I did not want to bother my doc, so I just simply said ok...
What do you think of this?

I do not think she knows what she is talking about, cause I am constantly telling her...what I need...she was very hesitant in giving me Clomid, as she said I need injections, so I told her I would like to start with clomid first as there are alot of success rates and she finally wrote me up a prescription...
after I practically begged her...

I have only been TTC for 5 years now!

My queston is what days should I take it?
I am not being monitored and have just taken my first provera pill tonight to bring on af...as i do not get af on my own...
Also, anything you can reccommend me to take while TTC?
I have read about baby aspirin and robitussin???
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Also any CB's out there starting there 1st cycle in April!

I was on Fertility Friend and did a search of clomid and pregnancies with PCOS to match my chart and I noticed there were some people to take clomid on CD1. I was suprised to see that b/c i usually see 3-7, 4-8 or 5-9. But hey they took it CD1 and got PG. I used robitussin this cycle from CD8 until O & it worked great!!! I'm not sure about the baby aspirin. I've tried it in the past b/c i thought it would help but decided to ask my dr. before continuing it. HTH

Hello Nata, I started my first dose of Provera today to induce AF ( I don't do that on my own either ) also, I will take 50 mg of Clomid on CD 5-9. We have been TTC for 1 year.

Hi LindsayBLB..We should be CB'S...I could really use a friend doing this with me...what do you say?

How many more days of provera do you have to go?
My last pill will be tomorrow night...and then it is down to waiting for AF...
So I can begin my 1st cycle WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!Fingers crossed!

Hello Nata, I'd love to be CB's..... I have another week of Provera my last pill is on Sunday. Last time on Provera I had terrible headaches. So far none this time though. I hope the Clomid works first try for both of us. Good Luck

I have seen people taking it then. When I tried it (not very successfully) I did it CD 2-6, so not far off. I read somewhere (ages ago now) that since a lot of cysters O late, even on clomid, taking it earlier can lead to a better, earlier O.

Hey LindsayBLB...My last Pill of Provera is Tonight! Usually it takes me 2 weeks after my last pill to get af, so I am hoping it shows sooner this month...i AM JUST SO ANXIOUS to start!!!!!!!!

I was just wondering i have heard about the robutussin and baby asprin and was just wondering what it is for i was just diagnosed so i am new to all of this. taking met thought ang the doc said might get pg on just that.

Nata, I wish I was already done with Provera. DH and I have high hopes that this will work the first cycle. From what I've read, we have pretty good chances. I think it only took me 1 week to get AF after Provera last time. I'm pretty anxious myself.
