So I have just started my 3rd week of meformin 1500 a day this is my first week.I had a miscarriage 4 weeks ago and I am waiting to start AF again so I can start Clomid. I have noticed the one PCOS symptoms I never got was acne and since taking met I am having horrible(to me )acne. All along my jaw bone, chest, back sorry I know TMI. I got my first day of I know ewww Diarrhea from the metformin after beng on it 2 weeks. I had i all day yesterday. I ate a bowl of cereal took my pill, ate some mac and cheese oo my pill and was soo sick after that. I ate some chicken for dinner was sick a little but I went to bed nauseated and was geting hot flashes all night. Is this normal..I am used to Clomid s/e but this is my first with met.

I also have a bad cold. What can I take for it??

I have noticed my nails growing. I havent chewed on them but picked at them bc they would peel and never grown and I now for the first time in my life I have a nice length nail.

Thanks!

I was prescribed Met after a m/c before, but I'm afraid I've no experience of Clomid. I just wanted to say about your acne, I have excema which is never very bad just get the odd patch. I have had numerous m/c and every time my excema gets so so bad. I just recently had one at Christmas and my legs are still really bad. Just wanted to say it could be a result of the changes in your hormones rather then the Met?
