Clomid & Met

To my sisters.......

I was wondering I started my first clomid cycle......well the next month roled around and no period????? I took a PT and its neg.....still no period....does it stop your period?????? was wondering......my doc is going to up my dose of clomid....Hopefully they can tell if I o'd I donlt know how to tell if I do...does anyone care to help me out on this one........and also is there anyone who is taking clomid and met as well????????? thank you and I pray for all of us to be blessed with lots of children...

If you didn't ovulate, most of the time you will not have a period. The doctor can give you a rx to start it and up the dosage of Clomid. A good book to understand the basics of fertility is Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. Good luck on the next cycle.

the book suggest above is great ... after reading it, there were so many things i didn't know/understand .... it doesn't really address fertiliy issues ,,, but it does really teach you about your body.

i took met and clomid to conceive my DD .... the doc usually starts you on 50mgs clomid .. most people don't get results ... i think 100-150mgs is most common .... how long has it been since the 1st day of AF? you could be preg and no showing yet? if it is that you didn;t O your doc should give you provera to make you bleed and start next dose of clomid.... to know if you Oed your doctor should be doing a blood test on cd21 ... you can also monitor yourself using ovulation test strips or temping ....
