I just want to know if anyone has tried clomid and not pregnate. If so then what did you do to get pregnate? Did you ever get pregnate? did you have twins? did you misscarry I just want to know what to look foward to.
Well at the moment i have had my first round of clomid 50mg last month, i waiting for AF to arrive as 'she' is two days late and i don't really know whats going on
I tried clomid several times and never got pregnant from it BUT it seems like everytime that next month I didnt take it I always had a very strong O. I took clomid the month BEFORE I got pregnant with this bean.

I tried clomid for a long time when TTC#2. I had 1 miscarriage when on clomid. I got pregnant after I had stopped taking it for about 4 months. It did although help regulate my cycles.

I have done three rounds of clomid 50mg days 5-9 and nothing happened. Not even an O. I just got a new RE who has put me on clomid 100mg days 3-7 for six months unless I get pregnant or have probs before then. Do you have PCOS? If you have PCOS and clomid doesn't work you can always ask your doctor for a breast cancer medicine called Femara. It is not the traditional treatment and is not approved by the FDA for infertility (mainly because the company doesn't want to do all of the testing and paperwork necessary) but in studies it has had equal if not greater pregnancies as clomid with less side effects. I really wanted to SKIP the clomid and go straight to Femara but the RE says no. Good luck to you and congrats on ttc.

I did 6 rounds of Clomid and did not conceive. I also did not conceive on Gonal-f injections. I finally conceived DD after starting Metformin after a 1 1/2 year break from TTC. You can see the details in my signature.

I never took Met with any of the other medications. My previous doctors would not prescribe it. It was only when I moved and had to find new doctors that Met was offered. It's quite possible I would have conceived on a Clomid + Met combo.

I was prescribed metformin staright away once i was diagnosed. I just had to wait until feb this year for clomid to start as i had to lose weight first.
Sarah Jane, have you O'd on the Met/Clomid combo? I have done Clomid 50mg before but now will begin 100mg as soon as this Provera brings on AF. I am also upping my dose of Met from 500 mg to 1500 mg as of tomorrow. Good luck to you in your ttc journey!

I had my blood test last week when it was cd21 to find out whether i o'd or not as i am unsure. I had some 'nice' symptoms whilst taking clomid, i keep getting hot flushes!!! But like i wrote before i am waiting for AF to arrive!! I don't know whether i am coming or going!
I just want to know what my body is telling me.
Yeah, the clomid "nice" symptoms stink. I always get REALLY irritable and moody. I am not usually an irritable or moody person so it is completely obvious that something is wrong and all I hear is "What's wrong? What is going on? Are you okay?" This just makes me even more irritable and finally I go home and seclude myself from the world until I can calm down. I am praying for no s/e from the 100mg but am sure that they will come.
