Default Clomid, ovulation very late?

just wondering if anyone has ovulated REALLY late on clomid? like CD 25 and even later?

just had a bunch of EWCM but I thought I ovulated on CD 18ish
and I have a ton of AF cramps

suggestions on what it could be?

I O'd late with both my boys on clomid - maybe around CD 21 or so. This pregnancy (no clomid) I think I O'd somewhere around CD 28 or later.

Can you call your OB for a blood test to see if you ovulated? If you O'd on CD18 - then you'd be 7dpo - today which is the best time to test - but 8dpo is good too. GL!

Red face Late O w/clomid

Yep - It's really annoying. When I do O - it's usually on 19-21cd. This month w/clomid it was cd26.

Fun huh??? If I get my BFP - I could care less about when I O'd - but alas I await that +.

Good luck! - Siani

I O'd on CD 27, based on the fact that I started my period 14 days later. I wasn't monitored or using OPK's though, because my doc (just a regular gyno) told me that the Clomid didn't work, based on my blood test results from CD 10. But since I hadn't had a period in over a year, I think since I got one, it means I O'd, just a lot later than he expected. Next time, I'll def. use OPK's.

Default O really late on clomid

Yeah - I O'd on cd24 on clomid.... and I O'd as late as cd26 on it too. The good thing is that they say the follicles are more mature and ripe w/the late O, so more likely to fertilize and implant. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Good luck.

Default Clomid - ultrasound and temp check, conflicting results?

I am on my first cycle of Clomid. U/S scans on CD12, 14 AND 16, showed 2 follicles, one maturing nicely 22mm on CD16, so I thought I should o soon. Howver, my temps have indicated I o'd on CD14, which is the best indicator? Can anyone advise?

Lets just say timing of babymaking would prefer it to be the u/s!

I was reading this post and it was helpful to hear some of these answers. I have used 4 cycles of clomid 50 mg and never had a positive OPK. My new doc has now switched me to Femara 2.5 mg, but I will continue to test longer now.

Thanks.
