ok so my dr just put me on clomid (which is what I wanted) but my question is what is the dose that is normal to be started at...my dr started me at 2 pills at 50 mg each. from what i have read they usually start you off at 1 pill a day. I am also on metformin 1700 mg/day. Also how much of a success rate have you had?

Thanks...I am hopeful of course this is my first cycle of clomid. but my dr said if this doesnt work we could talk about doing another round of clomid or another round of clomid with hcg...is it true that you can only take 6 months of it?

lots of girls have success with 100mg...
So good luck. take at night time going to bed. drink lots of water. stay clear of coffee/tea/choc and alcohal... they will all add to the side affects..
It didnt make me ovualte. so I am moving onto more drugs

100mg of clomid worked for me. The first round I did 50mg of clomid and nothing so the following month, I went up to 100mg. I was also taking 1500mg of met at the time. Since the 100mg was working, I also took an hcg trigger shot. All of this worked great and resulted in a beautiful baby boy!! Sending you lots of baby dust.

Thanks need it...well I dont know if it will make me ovulate or not but the dr said next time we could try it with an hcg shot or we could choose to try just clomid again...
