I know, you guys are probably sick and tired of all the Clomid questions, but I'm new to the stuff and super confused.
My doctor gave me a progesterone shot this Wed and by next Wed I should have my period. I will be taking Clomid 2/day for 5 days on CD 3-7 along w/ a 4.5 day 'script of Estrogen after I have finished the Clomid.
1.) On my 'script bottle it says to take "2 tablets every day starting 3rd day of cycle." Well, that's all fine and dandy, but my concern is that I don't know how/when to take it. Do I take them both together at the same time? Or, do I take them at different times(like one in the morn and one in the eve)?
2.) I will be taking the Clomid CD 3-7, but my periods usually last for almost 10 days if not more! So, if I'm done taking Clomid on CD 7 and by CD 9 I'm still on my period when should we time the BD'ing? I'm not all about BD'ing while still on my period.

I am assuming you will be taking 100mg of the clomid and you would take them both at once, same thing would go if you got bumped up to 150 mg (3pills at once).

I was told to take clomid days 5-9 and bd every other day startin at day 11-21, so he is right about you starting on day 9 but I am also like you where I will not do the deed whil on af. I think that will have to be your call though. I have never been on af when I had to bd. if it meant it may help in ttc I may change may mind though.

The doctor didn't say anything about doing any blood work. Although, I am suppose to back in for a clomid check around CD2 of my next cycle. Although, my body is notorious for having AF and then not having it again for 6 months! So, with that said I'm even more confused.
I think I'm going to call the dr office on Monday and talk to the nurse. Dr didn't explain it very well...Either that or I'm really retarded!

If you O on the dose he has prescribed then you will get af and not need provera (unless you are pg ). If he has you coming un on day 2 I am assuming that he will monitor your cycle. I would ask about the p4 .
