Clomid Question

Ok I have a question I got AF and started clomid 50mg on days 1-5 like my OBGYN suggested...and then about 2 weeks later I got AF well it wasn't really AF it was just brown discharge and no blood...has this happened to anyone else? Does this mean clomid didn't work this month? I'm really confused! Anyone got a clue???

I believe brown means old blood, but someone correct me if I'm wrong. How long did it last? I don't think it means that the clmoid didn't work..it could be a number of things. Did you ask your doctor?

That could actually be quite a positive sign of a strong ovulation!!

When you ovulate, your ovary needs to rupture to let your egg out. Some women who ovulate a nice sized egg can spot brown blood. It's brown because it's old (take a little bit of time to come down from the ovary)

Some women do spot during ovulation or implantation. Since you took the clomid so early in your cycle, you could have ovulated around day 11 and be implanting around day 15/16ish.

The best way to monitor ovulation yourself is to track your temperature each morning. That is really the only way you can tell for sure if you ovulated.
