Default Clomid question

My Dr prescribed clomid and last month was the first time that I took it. I started my period on May 17th and took clomid on the 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd. Yesterday, the 14th was the next day I was expecting to have my period...I am every 28 days like clockwork. I didn't start my period like usual, just some very very light spotting that lasted for half the day.

My husband and I are trying to give it a few days before we run to take a test. I am going crazy with anticipation though.

My doctor wont be available to be seen until friday 6/20.

Can any one share their experience with Clomid?

Clomid didn't work for me, but I really hope it does for you!

That light spotting could very well be implantation spotting. Especially if you're really regular like that. *fingers crossed*

Good luck, and just in case you need them for a future cycle, you can buy really cheap pg test strips online (I don't have a site at hand, but they will come up on a google search for early pregnancy tests) for those days when you can't stop pacing and wondering.

Best wishes.

You could test now and get fairly accurate results since you have aready missed your period.

I would test if I were you. Last year, I started spotting a little for a day and then it quit. I thought it was my period starting, but it had stopped, so I tested and found out I was pregnant. Sadly, I miscarried a few weeks later which is not related to the spotting. So, you could very well be pregnant. I would test and if negative and still no period, then I would test a week later. Good luck!

It maybe is worth you taking a test. I have been on clomid four times now and since taking it my cycle days have ranged from cd28 - 33.
Good luck to you

I took clomid twice and got pregnant twice. I have two sons. Last year I had a mc with no use of fertility drugs. I went on to have another pregnancy and have a healthy daughter without the use of clomid. It was a shock. I got pregnant on 150mg the first time and 50mg the second. I took it day 5 - 9 of my cycle. Good luck!!!!\
