Default Clomid Question

I'm new to all this. I took 50 mg. Clomid last month and my progesterone level went from 7.5 when they tested it the month before, having not taken any medication, to .75? Has this happened to anyone else? I did have a lot of stress during the month, but wondered if it could have been something else? My doctor upped the dosage so I will be taking 100 mg. Clomid this month...if I every start my period that is.

Maybe it was tested on diff days of your cycle. But it is possible that your body didn't respond to 50 mg, hopefully the 100 will be the magic amount. I started with 100 and it worked : )

I had the exact same thing happen to me as well. With my first round of CLomid my progesterone was 13.8. I was really happy because I finally O'd. Then the next month my progesterone was only .23. I was so upset! My Dr. thought that I just did not respond to the 50 mg dose. He said that the ovaries are tricky and may respond in one round and not the next. I have also been increased to 100 as well. Since I did not O I had to take Provera again to get my AF. She just arrived today so I will get to start the Clomid in a few days. I wish you luck and hope that this is the round for you!
