that's a good question....I can't answer about the increased dose, but I can shed some light on the chances of twins and higher multiple births.
I was told by my doctor that women normally have a 7% chance (I think thats the right number!) of having twins on their own. Adding clomid doesn't increase the chances of twins by much, but the chances of having triplets and higher stays the same, so it is exponentially higher because most women would have a less and less % chance of having multiple births..does that make sense? I hope so
