clomid and Robitussin

Just curious, I've heard the story's about taking clomid and robitussin together to help with cm issues. Has anyone done this? if so, how much you take? when did you take it?

Any suggestions about the best time of day to take clomid? Thanks!!!!

I was wondering the same thing about the robitussin. I've heard that alot of people take their clomid at bedtime to reduce the side effects.

Most people swear by taking it at night to reduce s/e. My RE prescribed for me to take it at night, so I never took it any other time to be able to tell you if it helped or not (I still had some s/e).

Clomid does have a tendency to dry up CM. It didn't affect me until I reached 150mg, though. But once I got that high...ZERO CM. I never tried the Robitussin thing. Instead, I went with Pre-Seed (www.preseed.com). A lot of us swear by it.

I know a lot of people who used it! I would try Preseed though if your on Clomid; it works great and has worked for many people.

I used robitussin alone last cycle - and that was a BFN but I t'm pretty sure that I did notice my CM was more "slick" - which I'm not sure was even because of the robitussin!!

This cycle I'm using pre-seed and robitussin, and prayer!!

I used robitussin be4 when ttc ds #2 and it need my cm come back..and I look foward to using it again when ttc #3

I took the recommended dosage around the clock while ttc my ds in 2003. That along with Met 500 mg and Clomid 50 mg I conceived during the first cycle.

For those taking Clomid (clomiphene citrate, Serophene) in a 5-day protocol, one can probably wait until the day after the last Clomid pill before starting the expectorant.

I have heard of women using that & muxinex but I never have but this is my 1st cycle of Clomid so we will have to see I am debating to get preseed or not

I have been debating Pre-seed also. When TTC #2, I used Robitussin.
