Hello everyone.

I am so new to this whole thing that sometimes I feel like all I do is ask questions but I was wondering if any one might be able to help me. Once I finish my round of Clomid, how long will it take for me to O? When do I take a pg test? (My doc has ordered me to go in for blood work on cd 21.) What happens if I am pg, are there certain tests that need to be run to see if my hormone levels are good enough to maintain the pgcy? I am currently in the UK and our doctors here are not that forthcoming with information.

Clomid 50mg (cd 2-6)
Pronatal Vitamins (daily)

Cycle#1- FF states I O'd on cd23 now in 2WW!

Hi Sun - Usually you will O 5-12 days after taking your last clomid pill. Some people will say 5-10. Do you use OPK's at all? They don't work for all ladies due to PCOS rising your LH levels, I'm one of the lucky ones it does work for. They detect the LH surge and once that is detected, you normally would O 24-36 hours afterward the surge is detected. If you get a surge, its best to BD that day and the next 2-3 just to make sure you cover all ya basis.They say is good to BD every oher day, but more around O! You need to wait unitl 14DPO to take a HPT. Some ladies will show + before 14dpo and others may take a few days after 14dpo to show +. Have you heard of taking robitussin after you clomid pills? Clomid can cause your CM to dry up and become hostile, which makes it harder for the sperm to get to the egg, but taking 10mlx3times a day of robitussin until O has occurred can cause your CM to not be as thick and hostile. I have read alot of information about making sure you get your progesterone checked if you are pregnant because low progesterone in pregnancy can lead to miscarriage. So many ladies on this thread believe that and after reading all the stories, I do myself. If it is low, you can go on progetersone suppositires I think it is. Just a quick note on the CD21 b/w. Thats fine to go in and get that done, but it will only show a good number if you infact O. progesterone levels in the body will peak 7DPO, so thats test is only good if you definately know you O on or around CD14. I didn't O on my first round of clomid until around CD38!
