Hmmm... I took my first clomid last nite. I guess I was a little nervous/excited at the same time--just from the idea of what it might bring. I have never been pregnant before and am super excited about the idea of it. Well, I read the little pamphlet inside my medication packet from the pharmacist and looked @ the possible side effects. I did not have any of them except for 2 that were not listed.

Strange. Anyway, I am always the one who gets weird side effects from meds. One of the main side effects was muscle twitches on my right side. The right side of my mouth started twitching to the right and the right side of my neck started twitching up. It felt so wierd. Then I started to feel very anxious and shaky, BUT I think that might have been because I was freaked out b/c of what my neck and mouth were doing. I don't know if that can be attributed to the Clomid--prob not. But the muscle twitches I have never had before with any other meds or anything. Has anyone else had this experience or heard of someone who has? I am going to call my doctor when they open to get her opinion, but I figured I would ask y'all too since you all have been through it. I sincerely hope this does not mean that Clomid is a bust for me.

Hmm...I've never heard of those symptoms.

I would call you doctor to make sure it isn't anything serious.

The main symptoms I had on Clomid were: SORE boobs, mood swings, headache and fatigue.

I just spoke w/my doctor and she told me to stop taking the Clomid. I have done some research including speaking /w a co-worker who had similar symptoms. She actually was diagnosed with MS as a result of her twitches and stroke-like symptoms. The symptoms stopped once she stopped taking the Clomid. I also found one other person online so far who has had similar side effects and was also subsequently taken off the Clomid. I wonder what causes this about us? I wonder if there are more out there. Man, what a let down. I was so hopeful and excited
