I've have a low grade (about 100 F) fever since early Thursday morning and I started clomid on Wed. for the first time. I'm also really achy and have a mild but persistant headache. My nurse said that the fever wasn't a side effect but I still feel like it might be. Anyone have a similar reaction?

I ended up with a sinus infection at the same time I took my last round of clomid. As the clomid dried me out, my sinuses were dry as well. I took some major decongestants (from dr but he said sudafed or others would do) and told me to drink lots and lots of water or other fluids.

However, if you have a fever, you might already have an infection as well. Questions to ask are : does your head feel worse when you bend over? dizzy? nasal discharge?

Also up here, the common cold is in full force with the start of school.

Just some thoughts and I hope you feel better!!

I hope you feel better. I did not have those side effects. I did have hot flashes which did feel like a fever. I cold never stop being hot. And if it was cold in a room I was still hotter then heck!

I am taking clomid now as well. As you can see from my history. Each time I have taken it, I get a mojor headache, which advil just takes the edge off. I start to sweat mostly in the head facial area without warning. So hot that an air conditioned room or a shower does not stop it. I feel so hot all the time taking it especially starting on day two. I feel the flushed hot feeling most of the day. Good luck and baby dust to you!
