Hi Jilly Marie,

I am TTC #2 currently and am taking Clomid. My doctor put me on 100 mg, although 50mg worked with my DS. I take mine days 5 through 9 and I take it at night. I am pretty sure that is when they told me to take it the very first time I took it 8 years ago, so I pretty much stuck to the routine. I was wondering if switching to the am would be better, but I personally know I will forget to take it. I'm interested in seeing what others have to say.

Hi,
I took mine at night too. With ds #1 I conceived on 50 mg Clomid cd 3-7. I miscarried once after that (a truly surprise pg!) and now am trying for #3 starting at 50 mg again but my ovaries are just not getting with it this time, it seems. I think this cycle is a bust and I'll probably move onto 100 mg next. Here's hoping I'm wrong!

Helen,

As far as I know it is good to start Clomid your first full cycle after the pill because the pill helps reduce your cycts and gives you a better chance at developing follicles. I know my best friend was on the pill and then went on progesterone to help her have anormal cycle and then onto clomid that very first full cycle. Good luck!
