Default Clomid, Unmonitored?

Here is my situation,I am up to 1000mgs of Met,took prometrium to induce AF,so I started AF today and on the 3rd day of AF I am going to start clomid for 5 days while baby dancing every other day for ten days.Whatever, sounds like a tounge twister.Anyway my DH is very layed back and easy going and he really doesn't understand that our fertile life has to be monitered,KWIM? He is so sweet and says to me "if it happens it happens",that is always good to hear but I need a little more effort put into it. Unfourtonately,I have not been doing any temping or charting. My batery died in the themometer and I haven't replaced it.My doctor asked that I bring my chart with me to the next appt in october. So,so far my cycle has been unmonitered.I should post a post for dealing with difficult DH!My main reason for not charting is DH.I just don't see us in there BDing around the clock.I don't know if it is that I don't want a baby that bad or if it is b/c I know he does not want a baby until he is 31,he is 29 now by the time I get pg he will probably 35! I am 26 and ready to TTC b/4 I start having more trouble with PCO.Sorry for being so blunt I am just mad.

There's nothing wrong with taking a break from charting, etc. But if your doc is asking for your chart then you might want to postpone your break or your doc's appt.

I also wanted to say - even on clomid you may O after cd18 - so BD'ing every other day for 10 days may not get you past O date. You're better off to BD every other day until O is confirmed (either by charting or a P4 test at 7 days past suspected O). If you want your break this month - but still want to do clomid just bd every other day (or every 3rd some of the time if you need an extra day 'off' LOL) until you get AF or a BFP. GL!
