Hello,
I have what's probably a really dumb question. I'm set to start my first round of Clomid tomorrow, 50mg for 5 days.

I've been reading a lot about Vitex and Licorice Root. I'm curious if either of these suppliments have been used WITH Clomid or if there are any studies or anything about doing so?

Google it, but nope you cannot take vitex with clomid because they will counter act each other, not what you want.

Thanks -- I did google it and see that they work against each other, the clomid and the vitex.

I couldn't find much about Clomid and licorice root, though. The one site I found suggested they be taken together but I could only find one site.

From my reading, it sounds like licorice root is a natural alternative to drugs like Clomid. I would have to wonder if the vitex and licorice would have the same issue as Clomid and vitex?

I know of some who have taken soy and vitex on the same cycle just not together. Like for instance, they take vitex days 1-5 in the am then on day 5 in the evening they will take soy for five days, then when they finish soy they resume vitex. I guess the same can be tried with licorice root.

I know one cyster that did that for a couple of cycles and she did get pg (vitex and soy).
