I have been reading up on CM, as we are Still trying to get pregnant, and i have noticed something that kind of strikes me as odd.
The "slippery egg white" type of CM tends to show up at the end of my cycle.... like on days 22, 23, 24.... It seems to me that it is supposed to show up at the middle.... And since i basically have no CM any other time in my cycle, i am concerned.
As i understand these things, that stuff is supposed to be a pretty good indication of fertiity.... but, that if it shows up until that late in the cycle, the egg/sperm match doesn't have time to "settle in"to the uterus.
am i interpreting the information correctly, and is there a way to convince my body to do this at the right time in my cycle?!?

Isn't that an indication that you have a very short luteal phase and maybe you just ovulate later than usual. Do some research of short luteal phases. I think this is a great cause of infertility and I have it also and lost two babies. I did conceive on my 2nd month of glucophage. HTH

I am 27 y.o. mother of a 7 1/2 y.o. and 2 y.o daughters.

I have two angels in heaven that I miscarried in the first trimester in August and October of 1999.

I was diagnosed w/ PCOS in March of 2001. I take Glucophage 850mg 2x a day. I got pg on the second month of meds and continued until 2nd trimester.

I just found out that my cysts are back on both ovaries. I'm not sure what the next step is. I haven't been on meds since getting pg.

I am checking mine out to see if this could be a problem for me as after reading your post Emantha, I am wondering if I have this problem. It isn't something I have thought about before, as I wasn't doing all of the steps for TTC. Anyway, thanks for posting the question, I would have never thought to ask.
