Co-Worker thinks hair on my hands and arms is sexy
I posted this on another board and thought I should share this with other cysters:
Monday, we were in our team meeting and I was sitting next to a co-worker and he happened to look at my hand - hairy and said I think that's sexy. I didnt get offened. I actually took it as a compliment. Its not the 1st that I've been told that by someone. Every since I was dx with pcos in Jan. 07, I felt like a freak. So when he said that, I was actually flattered. Today, he was talking to me and asked could he lick the hairs on fingers. I busted out laughing. I'm not easily offended. But I just thought it was funny but he's serious. I know some of you maybe thinking - HR but I just really wanted to share this with the cysters that think it will be hard to find a man or think that no one would want them because of being hairy.

Yes, he' single. Oh we are not going to be a couple. I just wanted to share that with everyone because I know sometimes we don't think the hair is sexy
i used to work at a gas station and there was a guy who came in one night who kept staring at my arms (i was wearing short sleeve work shirt) and finally he said to me, "you have the sexiest arms!"... i laughed and said, "but they're hairy!" and he said "there are ALOT of men who like that, ya know"
so yeah, i totally know what you're talking about!
This is not all that rare lol! There have been men who joined here and went intocthe chat room looking for hairy women! Wanted to cyber sex or something. It was freaking out a few of the members

yeah I know. But I just posted that because sometimes we don't feel sexy or attractive because of the hair. i just want to make a point that its men out there that find hairy women attracted. No counting the weirdos LOL
I have only gotten a verbal compliment from a man that I work with and that's because I had on a low cut dress. He was staring at my chest when he gave the compliment. I think most men are afraid to compliment me because I'm intimidating. My dh told me he thought I was one of the most intimidating women he ever met but he still persevered and asked me out.
I'm hairy, but pale so you can't really tell I am. I think I would be totally put off if a man said he thought I was sexy becuase I was hairy or lack of hair on my head. I think that's the oddest thing to find sexy because I don't find hairy men sexy. I wonder if these men are hairy as well?

I don't know. I don't think its sexy. I was married once and my husband never mentioned the hair and he loved me so it didn't really matter. Now that I'm single, Im a little nervous to meet someone and fall in love for fear of rejection. However, I am a good looking woman and I think that is just something I need to learn to accept about myself.
Wow I guess I never knew there were men out there who thought that was sexy! To each his own I guess. Wonder if he likes hairy toes as well?!

i think most men dont even notice, i think us women are our own worst criticts, we know its there we remove it we bleach it shave it etc etc our life revolves around it and we always have to think about it, but others who dont know about this dont notice it iykwim. i also think personality will carry you.

That is so true. Before being dx with pcos I had came to accept my hairiness. The only thing that I shaved was my legs and toes - in the summer time, and my under arms. I don't shave my arms, hands, or fingers. Thats too much work.
If me and co-worker every do decide to kick, atleast I know I want have to shave my legs. LOL!!!
