It's good! It's so much better than the original diet coke. It has no calories or sugar, but tastes more like regular coke, than the original diet coke does. It's still sweetened with aspartame, but a mix of aspartame and Ace-K. I don't like diet coke, but this one, rocks!!!!

I tried coke zero over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised. Lots of flavor and no icky aftertaste. Prior to this I had relegated myself to the diet flavors but now I think I'll switch to zero. The diet coke with splenda is pretty good but if I had to choose I'll take zero over the other flavors any day.
I just saw it this weekend and couldnt figure out what it was! Thanks for the good words, I will try it soon as I cant stand diet drinks. So far my fav is still Diet Rite with splenda.

Ahhhh... thanks for posting. I saw it today and wondered what the heck it was. I assumed it was made with Splenda but there was also diet coke with Splenda??? so I read the label and it had that "warning: phenylketonuriacs, contains phenylketonurine" (or whatever) on it so I assumed it had nutrasweet in it... which really confused me. So I guess it has nutrasweet and something else in it?
I actually think I prefer the "lighter" taste of diet pop to the syrupy taste of regular, but since I need to cut out caffeine any way it's kind of a moot point. I just need to STAY AWAY. Some days are good, some days are not good.
So that aftertaste people mention with Splenda... is Pepsi One made with splenda? I have had that in the past and I swear I have an aftertaste in my mouth the rest of the day. It's NASTY... is that what happens with the diet coke with splenda?

And how we're guilt-stricken, sobbing, with our heads on the floor
We fell through the ice when we tried not to slip..."

We taste-tested Diet Coke with Splenda at school when it first came out. I thought it was pretty good, but a little too sweet. That seemed to be the general consensus of the group. None of us felt it was something we'd go out & buy for regular, daily consumption.
And a friend and I got a Coke Zero a couple of weeks ago to try it. I thought it was WAAAAAYYYYYY too sweet, but she's addicted. It's definitely a lot like regular Coke, but since I've switched to Diet, I can't stand the sweetness of regular soft drinks, so I hated this too. Oh well, guess it's good to have all of these options. For me though, I'll just stick to my caffeine-free Diet Coke - which I've noticed is becoming more widely available in restaurants!!

Ace-K? Acesulfame potassium? Hope it something else :/ I can't have that. Um..does anyone know of any diet sodas other than diet dr pepper that don't have that or sacchrin? Nutrasweet and Splenda are fine. Did I spell ANY of those words right. pfft. (she tosses the dictionary and grammar book in the trash) If anyone notices one, please let me know!!! tyvm

I LOVE Diet Rite. Runner, it's sodium free, sugar-free, and caffeine free. It's made with Splenda, though, so if you taste the Splenda "aftertaste" that some people do, you might not like it.

I always wondered what that was I learned what it was in growth and development. It's a genetic disorder where Phenylketonurine (PKU for short) where people can't break that down and they have to go on a special diet. PKU is an amino acid...it's pretty interesting.
I tried Diet Coke Zero i love it...but i am always going to be a regular diet coke fan.
