Default Colace Dosage..
This might be TMI for some-

Since Ry was born I have had some bad internal hemmhroids. Usually I can get by with just drinking more water to make things easier on me, but since I am PG I am really constipated. It was so bad the other night I think I would compare it to giving birth.. LOL..Seriously.

I decided to start Colace and was wondering if anyone else is on it, and what dosage they use/used? ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. I really dont want to have to call the doctor AGAIN.. LOL

The capsules are 100mg right? My dr had me on 2 a day. I took one in the morning and one in the evening.

Thanks for a quick response... They are 100mg.. I took 1 a day for the last two days and it did NOTHING, so I will try two.

I do 1 100mg in am and 100mg pm everyday. It might take a few days to work, but it is way better than having cramping and blow outs with laxatives, etc. Drink a full glass of water with each tablet. I would keep taking them until your hemorrhoids clear.

Miralax is safe during pregnancy as well. I took the colace and every few days I would take a dose of miralax. Especially until the colace starting working.
