Default Cold Medicines

Does anyone know if it is ok to take cold medicines with Metformin? I started taking Nyquil because i have a really bad cold, it makes me feel better but never thought if i was able to. I tried calling my doctor, but i can never get through the receptionist, she keeps putting me on hold forever and i get tired and hang up.

Just call your pharmacist - they can answer questions about drug interactions!
