I'm in kind of a weird mood today. Burned out, stressed out, but nothing's really terribly wrong.

Today I'm thankful for having a quiet roommate who goes to the dining hall with me when we're bored and understands the value of a long shower, and what it feels like to actually miss a BF.

I'm thankful that tomorrow I get to meet my favourite author and have more books signed by him.

I'm thankful for quick-drying liquin that allows me to finish two oil paintings in four days, after working on them for 2 months with stand oil (for the aforementioned author, consider me a fangirl).

I'm thankful for cool weather so I don't have to walk around Portland without a car in severe humidity.

I'm thankful my ceramics teacher lets us use the clay to make our own stuff besides the usual assignment, so I can finally start to produce pottery to sell and give to friends.

I'm thankful for being so far ahead in my classes...I doubt I'll actually make Dean's list but it's a far cry from last year, and success is the best revenge.

What a post! That definitely put things in perspective for me. Instead of focusing on what's burning me out/ stressing me out, focusing on the positive things in life it much better for me.
