Default Colouring?

I was wondering whether colouring/styling hair makes hair loss worse? Should I avoid getting my hair coloured - I'm not a bleach blonde but wouldn't mind a new do as I cut my 2 foot long locks off the other week out of exassperation from my shedding head.

Also I have noticed my hair has become drier as well. Is this normal?

Coloring can be hard on hair; it will also cause a lot of breakage when you do the initial process. Its just up to the individual person and how much loss they have already. I have too much loss to color right now.
