Default Combat dehydration from Metformin

Having just started Metformin a few days and having the typically unpleasant side effects, I am concerned about becoming dehydrated. I am drinking a lot of water, but was wondering if anyone had any tips or "witch's brews" that may help keep me hydrated.

Anyone have an inventive solution, or just keep chugging away on the bottled water?

I just keep on drinking water. I try my best to stay away from sodas and sugary drinks and stick to water. It seems to help me

Just keep drinking water.

I have read if you are doing an IR diet that you can drink artificially sweetened drinks with a meal and that anything that doesn't have caffiene in it can be counted towards water. I gave up sodas and diet sodas long ago, but I have enjoyed crystal light as a treat. I also find keeping crushed ice around helps me drink more through the day. I fill 16 water bottles and keep them in the fridge. I seem to drink more out of bottles than when i have to keep up with a glass.

Good luck.

I drink Crystal Light also... plain water gets boring after awhile adding Crystal Light helps. Be careful in how much Crystal Light you drink though one of the main ingredients is Aspertame which isnt real good for the body.
