We have our meeting with the new social worker for MN waiting children tomorrow @ 2pm. It will be our first "official" meeting with her. We are both so excited to get the homestudy process started so we can be matched and bring our child/children home.
Hey Mary,
I Hope your meeting with the social worker went smoothly and that you get through the homestudy process quickly!! Keep us posted on how things went.
Janie

Our meeting was awesome. It was supposed to be only an hour long, we got there at 2pm at 3:45 she apologized that we didn't get thru all the questions because she just wanted to know more and more about us. She asked how soon she could come out to our home so she can finish and get us up on the waiting family board and hand our name over to the county social workers and said, how about this Friday? Randy and I almost passed out and told her that wouldn't work, we aren't ready for a home inspection. So she schedule us for August 11th. She said she should have all our paperwork done and we should have a picture colage done for her to put on top of our paperwork for the counties in MN and she will have it to them no later than August 15th. She told us to feel free to go on line and look at children and let her know if we want more information on any of them. We are so excited, but boy do we need to bust butt and finish up the house stuff.
Mary
Glad to hear it's going so well, Mary!! You'll do just fine when she comes to your house. You'll stress more than you need to--I think we all go through that!
Good luck!!
