What does "47lbs to go until my BMI is where I can adopt from China"...Are there WEIGHT LIMITS to adoption????

littlenova: Yeah, there are weight limits for adopting from China. I believe some other countries have that as well. If I remember right, i read you have to have under 40 to adopt from China.

yep, your BMI has to be under 40 to adopt from China. They just added that rule this year. It was changed mainly because the waiting time is so long & they figured if they made it stricter the wait time would lessen, obviously. I wasn't very happy about it either, but what can you do?
