That's a very interesting topic. But this field is still new to me. It will be grateful if you give me some
more information about it. Thanks in advance.

I too have had an issue with short term memory. I also seem to have a real disconnect when I am talking, almost as if I know the word I am looking for and I know the meaning but I cannot remember what it is. It happens to me mid-sentence ALL OF THE TIME. It is really frustrating because I used to have a really sharp photographic memory but now I wouldnt be surprised if I left the house without pants! I used to take topomax for migraines and I wondered if it was related b/c one of the side effects was a "disconnect of thought", I had asked at the time if it was just while taking the meds...wanted to make sure it wasnt permanent of course I was told the symptoms would subside after discontinuing but they never did.

Wait...what we talking about again? J/k

Yeah!!! I'm not alone and I'm not crazy! I love this site! It is making me feel so much better. I hate this diagnosis, but it is so good to know there is a reason! I started having concentration/short term memory problems for the last year or so. I feel like I'm just disorganized, but I know that isn't it. I am borderline OCD about doing my work well and lately I have to force myself not to fiddle and play online. I have been getting so distracted lately and I thought I was the only one who had trouble with the word thing. I will forget a word in the middle of the sentence. I just have to stop my conversation and define the word and say, "What is that word....I can't believe I can't remember it". It really is quite embarassing.
