Concerned about diagnosis I have had recurrent pregnancy losses. I had a phone consultation with a Reproductive Endocrinologist (RE) at a clinic that deals with this issue. She saw that on one occassion last year I had a FSH:LH inversion (3.9 FSH 6.6 LH) and told me she is sure I have "PCOS or PCOS tendencies" (is there even such a thing as PCOS tendencies?). It was my understanding that the ratio has to be at least 2:1 - but my above numbers are not quite this ratio. Previous ultrasounds (I've had many) do not show polycystic ovaries, I ovulate regulary on my own, have regular length cycles, do not have weight issues, hirsutism, acne. I've never been tested for insulin resistence. Has anyone else been diagnosed based soley on a FSH:LH inversion???
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
