I have been taking metformin for about 1 week. I have increased to 1000 mg. next week 1500. anyway the first 3 or 4 days i felt VERY bad. headaches,cramping,sleepy,the whole nine yards. And suddenly everything stopped! just out of the blue. a few mornings ago I took my pill and felt crummy. then just out of no where I feel completely fine and have sense. but now i am getting brown discharge. its not really "spotting" and i know its not a period. just enough for one pantyliner a day. its been doing this for 4 days and im concerned. anyway have this? is it my body making changes? i hope..

Did your diet change at all? I felt a hundred million times better when I started eating to control my insulin. It was like a new drug after having been on it for a year.

It looks like your body is responding fast...that's awesome! You're one of the lucky ones. Continued success.
