Hello and I can try a little to expailn. High glucose is your sugar level. The normal Sugar level is 70-110. Most of the time a high glucose level indicates diabetes (but not always.) And Insulin level is a little different. I don't know the normal range but I do know that if it is over 13 it means your insulin resistent. Many women on this site are IR and what this means is that your body doesn't use insulin in the correct ways and thus requires an IR diet.

Emily

I would definatly call your dr back and make sure of which one it is. If your diabetic then it is a little different than IR. Either way you will need to be on proper diet and meds. Just a suggestion sweetie!!
I agree with Honeybear. You need to know which and it, what that is, and what you need to do. You doctor is there to explain stuff to you. I would definently call them.

Do you have a follow-up with your doc scheduled? For either high sugar or high insulin, they should give you a "battle plan" to help get things back into normal range. And when you find out if it's sugar or insulin, we'll be glad to help too.
Hugs
Jenny

Why they would ever call you and tell you that a test came back "Not Normal" and leave you hanging as to what to do.....I dunno!!??
The girls are right....call back and ask to know what all this means for you and what they are going to do to help you.
I wish you all the best!

the best thing to do would be to call your doctor like others suggested. I work in a doctor's office and they always encourage patients to call if they have questions, I hope you get the answers your looking for!
