I just don't understand my body. I went to the ER at 5 weeks due to spotting that started off pink and went to red while at the ER. My beta dropped from 180 to 66 and I was told I was miscarrying. I went to my RE two days later and my beta was 59. I don't understand how it dropped so fast in two days and then so slow two days later. I have stopped spotting. My RE told me that my lining was still thick so I was expecting to be bleeding heavily by now. But nothing. Why? Has anyone else had an early miscarraige and not bled? Could it be because I was on prometrium (which I stopped after the 59 beta on friday)? I feel like my body is torturing me and making me wait long than I should to bleed. Truthfully..I just want to move on and try again....

Lina so sorry this is happening, I would think it's because of the progesterone, once it gets out of your system you should bleed, but there probably won't be much more than blood to come away, I know when I just had my 7 wk m/c that all I did was bleed with nothing much to come away tissue wise
hope that helps honey
big big hugs xxx

Thank you all for the kind kind words and support. I am still waiting. I am having horrible cramping..but I am not sure if it has to do with the m/c or if it's GI related.

Linaa- I am so sorry. My second m/c was like that. After you stop the progesterone it should finish the process. Don't be surprised if you do have some bad cramping followed by some clots and tissue. I did and I was only about 5.5 weeks along.

Linaa- Yes mine was pretty painful. I would discribe it like a mini labor. But once it passes then it will ease up. Don't hesitate to call your doctor if the pain gets too bad. They can give you something for it. (((HUGS)))

Thanks Linaa for the hugs. I will probably be having a d&c since there is no bleeding yet. It really sucks. Yes they do feel like contractions and they will get closer together and then it will happen.

Lina: I understand your concern, but the physical pain at 5 weeks wasn't all that bad for me. Really bad period cramps, but nothing too terrible. Honestly, I had worse cramping after my HSG. But everyone's body is different. Get yourself some ibuprofen, a heating pad, and some Ben & Jerry's, do nothing but lay in bed, and cry a lot. (((hugs)))
