Question confused about Vitex for thin cysters

I'm researching about Vitex - wondering if it's something I should try to get a period and to possibly help with ovulation. But I'm getting conflicting info as I read... I have an elevated LH:FSH ratio, and I've read that Vitex naturally increases LH, so it seems contrary to it being a good thing to do...

I guess I'm just wondering if any of you are taking or have taken Vitex, and with what results? I don't want to mess up an already bad situation

Thanks!

This post seemed lonely, but I'm sorry I don't take vitex.

Good Luck

I don't really know all that much about what hormones are raised/lowered, but I did try taking Vitex before seeing a reproductive endo. I guess my impression is that it helped a bit, but did not seem to completely regulate my cycles by itself. Without Vitex, my cycles were up to 63-65 days apart; with it I got down to 43-46 days. And I of course don't know for sure if my body would have come round to that cycle length without Vitex.
