I NEEEED to find a dr. in London who knows what he/she is doing.. the only test they have done me is an ultra sound (no cysts) and a simple blood test testing testosterone (normal)
however, i've had facial hair and bad skin for ten years so I know something is wrong and it reeeeally gets me down..
because i'm thin the dr's aren't interested..
dont i need more blood test than just a straight testosterone one? everyone else on this forum seems to know their LH... something or other levels. i dont know what to do...
anyone know a good specialist i could see privately or something..? my GP won't refer me
Mr Morris as the New Victoria in Surrey is very good, but that's Surrey not London and he's private/Bupa.
I'd definitely reccomend demanding a specialist, that's what I had to do to get my diagnosis. They need to do a full hormone profile test, not just basic stuff. You need to know LH/FSH, Estrogen, Testesterone, Free testosterone, etc etc. So yeah, go make a fuss! you deserve a decent quality of treatment and diagnosis but the NHS need a good kick in the rear to do anything apparently.

I was 10 years old when i got diagnosed with the great PCOS
But my mum kicked up a big fuss for me , she was so persitant that they humoured her and said fine we will do a scan so when the scan was done and it showed at 10 i had 26 cysts sat on my right ovary they apoligized.
So kick up a big stink about it and if u can print some stuff from the internet and say look i know what tests i deserve or say this is ruining my life please do further testing or what ever
