Default confused symptoms 9 days after D&C

I am so confused.. I stopped having pregnancy symptoms the day before I found out my HCG was actually dropping.. then the following Tuesday I had a d&c. No all of a sudden today I am having pregnancy/af symptoms again. I am so tired, veiny (which is my weird pg/af symptom), heartburn and dizzy.... is the normal so soon after d&c Dr told me af would return somewhere between 3-6 weeks after d&c not 9 days...

my HCG only got to 323 so the dr said that it would be all out of my system very quickly since Friday it was less then that already... so most likely by wed I would be back at 0

This is my first D&C so I am just confused on the facts.... Thanks for any advice ladies...

Why did they do a D&C with such an early loss???

I don't know exactly what the answer is about the symptoms - especially with having had a D&C it seems you shouldn't have any - but with my 1st m/c, the day I found out it wasn't going to work out, I developed the "metallic taste in mouth" symptom, which was just cruel... maybe more bizarre then cruel... and with another of my m/cs, after knowing, I developed insane cravings for broccoli - the fact that it was for broccoli and not, like, chips or cookies made me think it was a confused body pregnancy thing and not just a depressed and I want to eat and blame the cravings on something else thing. I was eating a pound of broccoli a day for a week or two during/after the m/c... it was bizarre. Raw, out of the bag, Trader Joe's regular was the best - the organic was bitter tasting...

I don't know why but you can develop symptoms even after it's over. Maybe your body is still just hoping...

I think anything is possible after a m/c and our bodies are just trying to figure out what to do. I'm very sorry about your loss! It is possible for anything to be happening right now, including starting a cycle or ovulating. Hang in there.

Trish I didn't realize you'd lost the baby - I am so very sorry. Seems like just yesterday we were both trying to figure out if we were pg. {{{hugs}}} I hope you heal quickly and are ready to try again shortly.
