Hi everyone. I am a newbie here. DX with PCOS 6/06 and was on Met until Aug 27th. Met was making me so ill that I had to stop. Anyway I have a bit of an issue here. The date of my LMP was August 29th. No menstration since. In Sept I did 2 urine pg tests and both were a BFN. Ive had mild nausea, sore breasts and slight cramping in the left side of my uterus in the past 2 weeks. I went today for a blood work-up to see if I am pg. I have spoken to a few over some boards and they all tell me that its probably my thyroid or my insulin. I am so confused. And I am also RH- so if I am pg Id have to have a Rhogam shot or I will miscarry. So, my question is do I wait and hope for the best or should I jump on this now?
Hi, Sara, I'm Sarah.... I know those HPTs are VERY accurate, unless it just wasn't long enough. How long ago did you get your BFN? If it's been more than a week, maybe you could just take another one to ease your mind. If you are pregnant, and are getting morning sickness already, you would get a BFP if you are at this point. BUT your symptoms could also be (probably) a withdrawal from the Met. I hope that's all it is.

Hi there... I know that sometimes when I wouldnt see AF for a couple months it would get nerve racking because I wanted to be pg so badly. A lot of the times though all the symptoms, including being nauseas was due to a cyst growing, or one rupturing. My Dr. did say that could bring on symptoms like that.... anyway, I know it's no fun at all so GOOD LUCK!!

I know its been over a month since I updated this post, but I am still getting used to the format of this MB. Anyway, I went for the bloodwork and (of course) it came up negative, so the doc put me on Clomid and told me to wait for AF. I did and it came and I think the Clomid worked. I got my first O date on FF for Nov 20th. Just started AF Dec 2nd. Had a blood level done to see if I did actually O. Wont know until Dec 11th when I go to RE for follow-up. Now that I know how to use this...grr... I'll try to keep up.

Hello everyone! Thank you for all your shared exp and advice! This whole ttc has been nerve wracking and confusing to say the least! But you guys help to keep me positive and inspired (and laughing sometimes). I'm so glad theres a forum for women like us to share, vent and learn. Lord knows, some of our RE's arent very informative. If I werent here I wouldnt know what was going on! LOL
Take care, I'll keep everyone updated!
