Unhappy Constant Fatigue?

Has anyone else had a problem with fatigue? These last few weeks it has been almost daily that I feel weak, tired and just like general crap. I have been taking a vitamin hoping that would help, but so far no luck.

I used to feel this way a couple of days before my period (on BC) but that was it. I have since come off BC becuase it was making me nuts, but feeling like this is driving me nuts too. I have also been having many more anxiety "episodes" that seem to fall in line with the weakness and fatigue.

I had surgery for a few large cysts in March, and since then have gotten somewhat regular period. Diagnosed w/ PCOS in 2008.

Has anyone else had a similar experience? If so, what helped?

I am currently experiencing the same thing. I have been feeling so freaking tired for the past few days. I don't know what it is. I just got back from my honeymoon, so I am blaming that for now. Sunday I literally slept about 15 hours.....and I am still tired.

Nothing seems to help. Sorry...

I have been wondering this same thing. I have been beat down tire. This weekend I took a 4 hour nap one day, 2 hours the other, and yesterday I walked it from work, showered and went to sleep. I woke up around 8, I was up for two hours and back to bed...

Welcome to the boards!! I'm sorry that you are feeling so tired. It certainly can make even the mundane tasks seem difficult.

It could be hormonal. It could be the IR. It could be an autoimmune issue. What kind of tests have you gotten and what kind of treatments are you doing? What kind of diet (not a losing weight diet, but a lifestyle diet) are you following? Do you get plently of rest? Drink plenty of water? Have you discussed this issue with your health care provider?

Thanks for the welcome

I had every blood test under the sun done before my surgery, and most of my levels were normal, aside from very high testosterone and high cholesterol. No sign of thyroid problems or diabetes as of 3 months ago.

I sleep 7 or 8 hours a night most nights, so sleep really isnt an issue at this point. I follow a low calorie vegetarian diet right now, but from what I am reading I may need to go low carb. I drink TONS of water, always have. I am taking a daily multivitamin right now, and that is it. I take the occassional xanax when I have an anxiety attack, but that is just once or twice a month, max. I am on no other meds at this time. Dr. wanted to give it a few months after surgery before prescribing any meds.

I have not gone to the Dr. for this issue specfically, but I do have an appt. with my PCP next week.

I would also add that you may want to get your B-12 and Vitamin D3 levels if you haven't already. Hang in there! You will find an answer ~ and I hope you come back to the boards as the ladies here are incredibly insightful and empathetic...
