Just wondering if anyone knows if it's necessary to have lab work done to check everything (like liver and kidney function or potassium levels) while on Spiro and Yasmin? As of now I don't have insurance so I can't get lab work done, but I do still have a lot of refills left on the meds and would like to continue to take them until I run out. But it'll probably be a long while before I can get lab work done again with insurance. I wonder if it's okay to keep taking them? Any thoughts or similar experiences?

I would say that it should be ok to finish taking them til you run out. The reason why I say that is because my Dr has me on 2 meds that I HAVE to go in and see him every month so he puts no refills on those meds. Im also on Metformin and he gives me like 3 or 4 refills on those then when those run out I go in and see him. I hope all this helps and makes since.
