Question Constant Spotting after AF

Hi Ladies... any input would help.

I had AF from CD1-5 after being brought on with Provera (5 days, 10mg)... and every single day since I've been spotting, especially after DH and I DTD. Plus my side feels engorged, but this is recent. My DH likes to play it rough in the sheets, never soft and sweet . I was wondering if he's just agitating my cervix.... or if I might have a cyst? I'm due to O, if my body cooperates in 5/6 days, could this be what I'm feeling? I'm very thin (5'9", 108lbs)

Any input would help.

Thanks

I would have brown spotting after AF for 3 days. Yes the rougher sex...I would find spotting after that too and a bit of pain. So I had an ultrasound and found out that I have a polyp...those were the only two symptomes I have had. I am waiting for surgery to remove the polyp.

Not to scare you, but if you can get an ultrasound to rule out a cyst or polyp...go for it.

i usually dont get as much spotting as I have had this month and was wondering the same thing. if you are taking metformin it can increase spotting due to hormone fluctuation in the first few months. also spotting after O can be sign of pregnancy so keep watching after the big O!!

I had near constant spotting, too, and it would increase after sex. It was at a time when I hadn't AF in maybe four months, so they told me it was likely caused by that--a build up of the lining causing leaking, but never a full AF.

I got a 10 day cycle of Prometrium, and that actually did take care of it, and surprisingly, ever since that, my cycles have regulated, without even taking Met.

I'm constantly spotting before my AF. Its makes me worried...but I've noticed it mostly comes if I have pelvic cramps or after sex. I'm not sure whether or not to bring this up with my doctor....especially if it is suppose to be "normal". I don't want to look stupid.

Kireos... it's never stupid to ask your doctor a question. They are there to help you. But pain during sex is not normal. Especially frequently. It could actually be something serious like endometriosis. I would talk to the doc... he/she can help ya out. If it is normal atleast you don'thave to worry about it anymore!
