Constantly miscarrying. This is driving me insane.
In a nutshell...
Was married for 14 years. had a tubal ligation. I was dx'ed with PCOS when I was 20 but was able to have 5 kids with ex-DH. I did have pre-eclampsia twice which I have been told is unusual and is a possible sign of an immune issue.
Had my tubes tied, divorced, remarried a wonderful man who had no kids.
Had a tubal reversal, one side was able to be repaired.
Since then, 9 miscarriages. All very early. Highest beta was 400. Never got past 6 weeks. Most of my miscarriages have been clearly positive tests and then 2 days later...done already.
I am now almost 40. Sooooo tired of this. Metformin is said to reduce miscarriage but the stuff makes me pass out.
Is there any hope at all? I have no trouble getting pregnant but none of them stick. We had every RPL test known to man. Even karotyping. Nothing was ever found. No clotting issue was found.
I had 2 postive tests in a row (December and this month) at 10 days po and by day 14 I would start bleeding.
It sounds like an implantation issue to me. I had the same thing. I've had 3 chemicals and a m/c. Have you tried baby aspirin? The theory is it can help blood flow to the lining and help with implantation. I don't know the names off the top of my head, but there are meds that are similar to metformin that you might want to ask your doc about. Good luck!
Have you had an HSG? I'd think so, having had a TR and knowing one side is open... I am wondering about the possibility of hydrosphinx? I an sure I am magling the spelling... but basically if there is a tubal blockage you get some sort of fluid build up in the tube which can cause miscarriage in some way. I don't know if it irritates the uterus or what exactly but I remember hearing of it at an IVF seminar I went to...

eta link about the problem with correct spelling
I have had more than one HSG and they never identified a problem...very frustrating!

I just started a new cycle and will try the baby aspirin. Has that helped you at all?
I had one son with no problems at all, he is now almost 4. I then had 4 early m/c's that were confirmed trying for #2 and am finally 13 weeks. What worked for me was getting my body to ovulate earlier with Femara, taking baby aspirin, lovenox, and progesterone injections (took HCG boosters for the first couple of weeks after ovulation, including a trigger shot when I ovulated). I have no idea which or if all of these things helped me here but something is going right. I do have MTHFR but do not have elevated levels of homocysteine or any proven clotting issues. Not sure how much of this you'd want to try since there's ALOT but that's what worked for me. I'm also on folgard and Met. Good luck!
Good call Alicia, I didn't even think about progesterone. I also took prometrium (the pills) until 13 weeks. I've also read that the progesterone calms the immune system if you have auto-immune issues.
I'm on the baby aspirin and lovenox. I think the baby aspirin and lovenox made all the difference. I'm at 15 weeks right now, the furtherest I've made it before was 6 or 7 weeks. Like Alicia said, I don't know how much you want to take on at once because it is a lot and it also depends on what your doc is willing to give you. The baby aspirin is over the counter of course and in my opinion doesn't hurt anything. You can get progesterone in a lotion form which provides a little bit of progesterone at some health stores over the counter if you're in the US. I used the lotion for a few cycles after "O" before my doc put me on the prometrium.
When I went on baby aspirin I made it to 14 weeks (versus 5 and 6 weeks in prior pregnancies). So next time I'm hoping they will put me on baby aspirin and lovenox.

I would try baby aspirin and see if that would help you out. I'm so sorry for your continual losses. It is so hard on one's emotional/physical well being.

I've almost had the same issue (except never had a tubal ligation or reversal. Also had all the testing & am "normal". We're going to try again soon (I'll be 35 in June) so I'm hoping a new dr w/ new ideas will maybe help. Have you tried maybe getting a 2nd consult to see if another dr has any other idea of what you could help?
