Exclamation Constantly worried!

Is anyone else out there worried all the time? I worry about everything under the sun and make myself sick! I can't just take one day at a time. I try so hard, it is beyond my control. I know I do have a chemical imbalance, some of my family does. I am not on any kind of medication for this, but I want to know that hopefully I am not alone.

Do you take something little and build it into a mountain? And, when you start with it does it just go on and on and become the only thing you can focus on? If you do you might be having anxiety attacks. That's what I do and my dr. said I have. You can get meds. and they will help. Please take care of yourself. For me, it only got worse until I did see my Dr. You don't have to live life that way. You deserve to be happy and live a normal life.

I do that too and i went the paxil way for a while which was great but then decided I wanted to quit. I weaned off with a few problems but nothing too scary and then decided to start cognitive behavioral therapy or a combination of both meds and therapy. This may be something you could look into. It takes some time but it has really helped me to "let go" and quit obsessing and worrying over things but of course we all still have our bad days. Hang in there!!! {{{HUGS}}} Bibi

You're definately NOT alone- I feel exactly the same way- worry is a constant with me, and from the posts I have read here on SC, it seems that a lot of cysters are also dealing with the same thing.

Pretty frustrating, eh? In my experience, meds did nothing to stop the worrying- it's just something we have to deal with one day at a time.

Hang in there- we're all in this damn PCOS thing together!
